Muse adalah grup musik rock alternatif asal Inggris. Band ini dibentuk di Devon pada tahun 1994. Anggota band ini terdiri dari tiga orang, yaitu Matthew Bellamy (vokal, gitar, piano, keytar), Chris Wolstenholme (bass, backing vokal, keyboard, gitar) dan Dominic Howard (drum, perkusi). Muse memiliki genre musik yang memadukan rock, rock progresif, musik klasik, dan elektronika. Muse juga dikenal dengan konser live yang memukau, bercirikan permainan yang energik dan efek visual yang mengagumkan.^[1]

Muse telah merilis lima album rekaman, dimulai dengan Showbiz (1999), Origin of Symmetry (2001), Absolution (2003), Black Holes & Revelations (2006) dan The Resistance (2009). Muse juga merilis 3 album live Hullabaloo Soundtrack (2002), Absolution Tour (2005) dan HAARP (2008).

Sepanjang kariernya, Muse telah memenangkan berbagai penghargaan termasuk 5 MTV Europe Music Awards, 5 Q Awards, 9 NME Awards, 2 Brit Awards serta yang terbaru pada tahun 2011 adalah memenangkan Grammy Award untuk kategori Best Rock Album (The Resistance) serta Ivor Novello Awards untuk kategori International Achievement.
